    Trying to get in shape

Okay so I’m a bit of the skinny side and I’m looking to see if I could possibly increase like muscle strength or anything like that. So a little bit about me, I don’t really have a specific diet. I kinda just eat different foods each day. I’m not really one for eating anything with protein (I’m willing to change that) I mostly eat my favorite foods which are more “bread” based. Like for breakfast I don’t really like eggs, id eat stuff like toast, waffles ect. I don’t really eat fruits But I absolutely love vegetables I eat them all the time. I just wanna know if there’s I can do, like if I can increase some types of foods and eat others. Ty in advance

Weight lifting or body weight exercise to increase muscle mass and strength. Cut that bread out. Get rid of the bread and high carb foods imo

It’s funny how these n00bs don’t even know how to gain muscle.

OP - fix your macros and do weights.

What is your current height and weight? How old are you? I had trouble gaining weight until I hit my late 20s.

            -Find your maintenance calories
-Create a calorie surplus (250 - should be enough for lean gains and minimize fat gain)
-Figure out your macros —0.8-1g of protein is enough and fat roughly 20-25% rest to carbs.
-Get Myfitnesspal —enter your macros and track, track, track everything you eat till you get a better grasp on dieting.

If you really want you can track your scale weight every morning, roughly same time of day and take the weekly avg to see progression. After a few weeks if your weights stuck, make adjustments accordingly..for ex: increasing your daily calorie surplus.

Find your TDEE - lots of easy online calculators that can give you a ballpark area of what that is
                  Eat at a +500 surplus
Make sure your macros are balanced
                  Lift weights

Post what your goals are. Are you looking to gain muscle, endurance, or aesthetics?
