In that case get someone to watch you when you do your exercises(someone who knows what their doing) because you make think your doing proper form but you might not be. Squats being the main thing of causing your lower back pain

I really doubt it's that but I'll still get it checked.

Lay flat on your back with your knees up and just reach to the ceiling, lifting your upper body off the ground. This will work your abs. You can also do pulldowns on the cable with your arms straight out in front of you and the back straight. This works the abs some also.

The first one you're talking about hurts my back and the pulldown thing I can't do because I don't have a pulley machine.

Yeah, it sounds more like a lower back probalem than anything. I would definately see another doctor, it never hurts to get a second opinion.

He said that I'm executing the exercises wrong and to work on my form. I told him it's not that since I know my pushups, squats, and chinup form is perfect. He didn't give me a prescription to get an MRI anyways.

I'm going to probably make another appointment soon with another doctor hopefully.

I made this thread to see what exercises I could do for the lower back.
Seems like that doctor didn't know what he was talking about. If you get lower back pain from hanging leg lifts, then something's gotta be wrong. There's no way to do that exercise wrong to the point where you get lower back pain.

Like you say, see another doctor!

It's not wise to get a bunch of back exercises from people here, who don't really know what's wrong with your back. Here's a bunch of lower back exercises, but if I were you, I'd be careful untill I knew a skilled physician had diagnosed my back properly.

u could do cable crunches, then u dont have to be on the floor. or cable woodchoppers r a great exercise for core strenght, especially for boxers. Also try a swiss ball, not a medicine ball
