5 days a week would be fine, make sure you have one rest day. make sure your doing everything right when you train alone, shadowboxing every day in front of a mirror would be a good idea. don't worry too much about building power and knocking everyone out, get your technical ability to where you can do everything without thinking about it. you should have a solid jab and left hook before you start trying to build power

I usually do 4-5 days and at least 2 days of rest. Sometimes I would do Monday, Tuesday, off Wed, then work Thurs, Fri and take weekend off.

3 times is OK, I hardly train 4 times a week. I work out till I feel like puking out and the next day I feel completely sore. Some ppl train lighter and save their muscles for the next day, it's also a choice. So, you shd not completely kill all your muscles if you want to train more than thrice a week.

I train 5 days a week, 3 boxing and 2 strength training. Any more than that and I feel like I'm not recovering.

Thou shalt train no more than thou hasith thine breath

So let it be written. So let it be done.

The best answer depends for what you want in return. Do you plan to enroll as an amateur boxer? Do you vision becoming becoming a Professional some day?

If you plan to do boxing for various other reasons it depends on the Schedule you provide.
