      I guess you don't have very good reading skills because I specifically said that I'm in the US Navy. You realize you can't be in the Navy and go to high school at the same time right?

      I never once said I grew up during the Hagler era. Quote me where I said I did. You can't so that's yet another strawman argument from you.

      You're assuming that because I joined the Navy a few weeks ago that I joined right out of high school. Yet another wrong assumption from you.

              Muscles are not a very important element in boxing but if you had it's a bonus and try more to work on it. This gives you extra points you have to build Stamina and Endurance in boxing which is more important. ​

                  For boxing, I think being strong definitely helps, but carrying too much bulk can really mess with your endurance. When I started out, I found that adding bodyweight exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, and some core work was enough to get me feeling stronger without slowing me down. I tried to avoid heavy weightlifting because I didn't want to get tired quickly in the ring. My coach always said it's better to be strong for your size and have the gas tank to go hard for all the rounds.
