              It's common knowledge that lifting weights shortens muscles. The contraction of the muscle is what specifically causes it. It's not my responsibility to educate you.

              So far all of the studies you have posted have been "debunked" and only further discredit yourself. Don't forget that you claimed that sample size doesn't matter. Idiot.

              Actually the military has a big budget and everyone would just work a different lift. It would take an hour instead of 3+ hrs in the morning.

              Push ups provide a better strength, speed, and endurance combination than lifting weights. "Doing pushups doesn't give you the muscular endurance for boxing. Doing boxing drills and burnouts does." Then what is the point of lifting weights?

              Push ups are not in the same range of motion and do not work the muscles the same as bench press. Just because they involve the same muscles, doesn't mean they emphasize the muscle equally. Are you some type of ******? Chin ups work biceps and lats just like pull ups. The difference is the emphasis.

              Pretty sure you're trolling at this point.
              It's not common knowledge, again that's a cop out for providing proof. It's not self evident. I squatted ass to grass without doing any stretching to build up to it for instance. How could I do that if lifting weights shortened muscles?

              I never claimed sample size doesn't matter, and ad hominin attacks only weaken your case.

              You think the only reason to work out is to build muscular endurance? Strength and power and why you lift. If you're stronger you can hit harder, move faster and react quicker.

              Do you even read what you write? You claim pushups don't involve the same muscles as bench press, and then in the very next sentence you say they involve the same muscles as bench press. Which is it? Can you even keep your own thinking straight or is it too convoluted?

              Pushups and bench press are exactly the same range of motion. You go from your arms extended to your hands at the same level as your chest with both movements.

              Again, ad hominin attacks don't help your case. It just makes you look petty.

                  The onus isn't on me to disprove I am 125 lbs rather it is on him to prove I am 125 lbs. I'm not btw. I was 125 lbs a couple years ago and he is trying to fool people into thinking I said I was 125 lbs yesterday.

                  I'm not getting defensive. All I have done is deny to post a picture of myself with no clothes on.

                  Seems to be that you, Juggernaut, and Hedonistic Frog are super pushy about getting me to take my clothes off and send pictures. That's sexual predator behavior.

                      I don't think you know what you are talking about honestly. You seem to just brush by the fact that you pretty much said that sample sizes don't matter and denied that the study you linked wasn't reliable even though the study itself did.
