My gym isn't very good and I don't get alot of instruction on footwork. Can you guys point me to anything like a video or website that shows some useful footwork drills I can work on at home or in the gym?
I teach it on treadmills. Get some ankle weights, put the treadmill at a slow speed like 1.4-1.5. Get in your boxing stance and do a rd going forward, right side, backwards, and left side. Keep your feet apart and never cross them. As you get better, add speed and eventually incorporate this into your roadwork routines. Be advised though you will get blisters on your feet especially if you do over 30mins of it.
