Jabbing Opponents Arms/Shoulders?

    u can parry the left shoulder down (orthodox-orthodox) to set up an over-hand right, but i cant se how punching the shoulder will help, i can see it being countered easily unless u follow it up with something.

    How do u intend to jab someones right shoulder may i ask? have u tried to do this?

      yeh punching a persons arms makes their arms tired very quickly, then they start to drop

        i wouldnt really worry about this in amatures , cos u aint gonna get any points hiting his arms , u can try if you want but u may take a few hits trying in *****g you a few points behind

          My uncle and trainer's brought this point up a few times, and they really stressed it as an effective way to wear out the other guys arms, leading to easy shots. Never tried it though, maybe i'll try it out at sparring tonight.
