    Strenght/Core training Routine

Does anyone here know a good strenght and core training routine?

How much time per week do you train your core?
How much time per week do you do exercises with weights?

What strenght exercises are the best for boxing?

    Push-ups/Sit-ups and pull-ups everyday?

I just can't seem to find any good information anywhere, and if there is any it is not good explained or they only tell you what exercises are good but not how often you should do them.

I got my cardio and boxing lessons covered all I have to know is how many times per week should I work on my bodyweight exercises and or weight exercises and how many reps/sets. Somehow that's the only information that is not really explained.. Maybe I should ask my boxing coach anyway.

One more question, how often should I work on the speedball outside of the gym? Would 4 days in a week be enough? Doing it like 10-15 minutes?

I train my core every session at the end. Stability exercises are fantastic for boxing in terms of your core, ie proprioceptively enriched environments (stability ball exercises, etc).

Floor work should be regular, just make sure you're not always doing the same push ups and sit ups, mix it up. Get creative.

Weights are still controversial in boxing and a lot of coaches just don't touch on it or just aren't educated. Even those who recommend weights will differ on the approach. Ultimately you can't go wrong with your basic compound lifts.

Go to this youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZI...NjVpP-oLMHpeDw

Its about training your complete body, using the "natural" movements of your body and not isolating muscles which shouldnt be isolated in the first place, like abs.

        Its perfect for boxing.

Training wise I would say train 2-3 times a week strength training when you are starting. You will likely be sore the first or second week.

Then you can make your training more intense by doing more exercises or doing more reps or building in other exercises to replace the olds.
