I agree. The racket is odd to deal with.

I used to play handball with a racket ball. Then got invited to a man's game, hitting that hard as a billiard ball hard rubber ball.

When I didn't hit it properly, my fingers would swell up and turn black and blue.

I used to tie my hands up with a bandana. After a while, I could accurately judge distances and could kinda catch/hit/throw that black dense ball.

I used to tell clowns to chill or I would slap them like a hand ball.

It's a great game, and great for hand eye coordination as you mentioned.

Some guys are so good they can place the ball low and at a low angle so it's difficulty of return.

Helps with hooks, upper cuts, and spatial positioning.

When I was a C.O. the Southsiders and the Piasas loved to play handball on the yard, some of the best handball players gotta be in prison. Theyd throw their federal prison issued grey glove on and bet stamps. Lots of $ lost on prison yards. But anyways, if it were an Olympic game, Mexico would be reigning champs. lol

I played with them once they were released. That ****ing ball is like hitting a small pool ball. But, as a Mexican you know we can't claim hand pain or shoulder injuries, like some boxers. We are ****** and double down.

Pain for us is like mother's milk. Man, we got pride and ******ity, in equal amounts. Hahahahahahaha.

My cousin was at Lompoc for a good stretch. Were you in Victorville?

I had one of those small green rubber balls. Doesnt bounce as much and u really need to whack tge ball to be effective.

Interesting to note that Jimmy Jacobs, co-manager of Mike Tyson, was considered one of the greatest handball players that ever lived.

He would have slapped the **** out of these punks on this site on general principles alone.. Just doing what absentee father's didn't do.

                      Sad really.
