late '60s early '70s. enclosed handball courts with that fckg small hard black pro handball.pomona colleges. fast kickass games. panzys got hurt.

before there was racquetball there was only handball. in late '60s they made racquets for women and wealthy boys to play handball.
then in '70s they made handball into a semi pro sport using the racquet.
thats what i remember.
i was handball champ 7th and 8th grade vina danks jr. high 1964-65 and champ 9th and 10th grade chaffey highschool 1966-67.
it was a good sport for shorter stocky dudes. the racquet was for panzys.

it was bizzare getting use to playing with a short tennis racket that you would injure youre self and others with. the first time i played with one i hit myself over the eye and had stitches, totaly different game. it took atime to get use to the extention to your arm.
