The closest distance to mimic a 3 min round is the 800m sprint. You run that as fast as you can.

You can't hold a typical "sprint" pace for 3 mins, as in the speed you would run 100m at

For example.. 30-40m sprints and when u get there, run backwards half pace to starting line then take off at 100% again. For me this simulates boxing. The backwards running is your resting punches and the forward sprints is your attack.
I do think the 800m sprint is really good for boxing. I like your idea tho I will try that.

Another one: put down some cones/any kind of marker. First one is 15m away from starting point, second one is 30m away, third one is 45m away. Sprint to the first one, sprint back to the start, sprint to the second and back To start, then sprint to the third and back to the start. That's one set. Do 6-10 sets and rest for 30 sec between each one

Yeah, on second thought I agree. Longer sprints are good for increasing aerobic threshold (which means u can box for longer at a higher intensity). This is why i like to keep moving with sprints and not stop completely, helping build your recovery time. This will help in fight when your ***ed and need a rest, you should be able to move away and recover on 2 breaths.

I like that sprint you mentioned because on the last and longest you can really put it in knowing you have a break.

Sprinting for boxing can be as simple as going for run and picking out things in distance to sprint towards, then go back to jogging pace until recovered and do it again.
