      Before:
Low carb, high protein, high fat, no salt. Brocolli, avocado, salmon

      After:
High carb, very low fat, bit of protein. Salt. E.g pasta tomato sauce, pancakes honey

Thanks. If you fought at 8pm, how long prior to this would you eat your pasta? Meat takes 6hrs to digest properly eh?

            pasta is not the best.
You body cant digest and use carbs from the pasta better are easy digestable carbs such as fruits

So before a fight if you want to cut weight quickly go low carb and no salt.

It will work only short period of time tho (max a week)

After weigh in eat 100% carbs all day.
              No to low fat.

Make sure to eat fruits only. They got all important nutrients. Vitamins,Minerals, fiber and fruit sugar which is quickly digested.

Also try to mix it into a smoothie so its even quicker and easier for your body to digest it.

Pro fighters do the same they drink fruit smoothies only after weigh in but you dont have to be that extreme if you cant or dont wanna do it, in the end you dont need to perform on world class level.

Fruits also contain a lot of fiber of which you'd want to be staying away from and it gives quick release not slow release carbs. I.e a quick fix.

Thanks for your reply. Only thing i know about fibre is its supposed to help the bowels. Why does one want to stay away from fibre leading up to a fight?

Isn't Pasta slow release energy and fruits fast release?
I love my fruit smoothies but would you get all your energy needs from this only?
