I'd say protein only if you've added S&C to regime (which you should). The work load should very easily offset the amount of macros you'll take in. If a protein shake is keeping you from losing weight, it's not the shake, it's your work ethic. Cutting weight has a simplistic formula attached to it.

If you're already taking 50+ grams of protein from your diet (Food, like Chicken) then you wouldn't need to take a protein shake. But 1 shake a day of 1 scoop should be fine.

If you are an amateur you dont need to take supplements.
Learn how to box and do not waste time thinking about supplements.
Spend all of your energy in boxing.

        My opinion. Cheers

Creatine supplement made me really slow and feel very sleepy. stopped it and felt back to normal after a week.

Could be I had a cold or something, but I tried it twice with no luck and same symptoms.

But I recommend a good protein shake every day. Had great results.

If you don't feel up to training.. a thermogenic or nitric oxide booster...or both! Can help you get the hours in. Just make sure to taper that stuff off for a fight. I don't think nitric oxide precursors or high doses of caffeine are legal on fight day. At least that's the assumption I always operated under.
