The fact that anyone doesn't recognize what this film is says alot about their experiences.
If the OP of the bag video wants anymore opinions from me he's welcomed to call on me.

that's some fine work on the bag... indeed. Notice how he leans forward so much sticking his mug right out front. Notice the super slick foot work, that he must have used to put fighters in to non-active trances 'cause he never moved his head once except to throw head butts. Notice, if you will, how his punches are delivered swiftly and from the waist with the rabid force that could bring down the Empire State building. (if he happened to be punching that building while he was being filmed it very well could have come tumbling down). Who needs to keep their hands up, or move their head, while workin' the sack over when heavy bags never punch back anyway. Never have, never will punch back.
You guys take everything too far though. These promo shots are nothin'. The fighters show you next to nothin' for the promo and you guys act like they were giving it their all.
Promo shots are for promotion, not perfection.Last edited by Rockin'; 09-17-2015, 07:15 AM.

I am wearing 14 oz gloves with 180" ringside wraps. The bag is 100 lbs with 50 lbs at the bottom holding it down so it doesn't move.
I haven't hit the bag in a month. This is my 3rd round and I messed up my shoulder in the 2nd round. The camera is at an odd angle so my stance looks really narrow for some reason.
Leave any helpful comments and ways I could gain more speed/power using my bag.
If you are training for speed thats cool. But for true power you have to forget about speed (and volume) for a second and make sure you are following through. Also your footwork, imo, is more stingingly oriented than crushingly oriented. If you want to add some weight transference into your punches, try coordinating your right hand or left hook with a slight jumpstep forward. I notice you are firing those left hooks so fast stressing speed that you are not turning that front leg with the hook. That's how you really dig in a hook. You could try rapid firing the hook but really coordinating your last shot with torque creating footwork could be devastating on your opponents. All those stinging shots then you dig.
I'm willing to wager that the cause of your shoulder issues is you are attempting to overload one side, and do so with speed and attempted power. The more natural way to generate power is side to side. I was waiting to see you unload from side to side but it's cool that you dont.. I like your style it just means you will be a stinging accumulation type of fighter as opposed to having show stopping power. Generating power is very much so an art all to itself.

With regards to the shoulder, it wasn't really an injury, I was just ****ing around on the bag the round prior to this video and I threw the hook way wrong. It healed like 5 minutes after but it made my jab funky during the video.
I will use the tips you gave me for the left hook, it's my favorite punch.
