If your punches are elastic like a whip, you can hear echoing blasting sound as opposed to dampening sound. The sound quality is different when you land. There isn't really a quick shortcut or a quick trick. Just hard work towards quality. You just have to hit heavybag a lot for years, focusing on the quality. There is no other way. Gennady Golovkin is a perfect example of a good quality punch. Notice how some of his punches sound dampening while some of his punches sound echoing blasts. My bag is attached to an old soloflex machine from the 90's which I put in pull up bar form and tied the bag to the top. My ceilings are 6.5 ft or 7 ft high. I would say it is hanging no more than a foot from the top. I have everlast brand gloves. I messed up my left shoulder only for about an hour after that but it is fine now. Idk why it happened but it has never happened before.

I don't have a punching bag at home these days, and I am not attending a boxing gym at the moment. Showed a shadow boxing though with wind cutting (no shirt, ripping wind) elasticity.

in my opinion the bears experience does not transcend in to the ring. However, his observations and comments seem to be pretty sharp.

who would even know if the guy in said future video was dabear?

I'd send in something to view but it has all been lost or damaged through time. All that remains are photos.

All that I can say is that the differences between amateur and professional boxing are night and day. So bring your flash lights and sunglasses and just enjoy the ride.......

Not yet, there isn't much amateur boxing in my state I'm going to start going to the gym I went to before but I only went for a couple weeks. They had good sparring from what I saw, it's exclusively amateur. This time I'll be going consistently and by the time Golden Gloves come around in 2016 I figured I will try my hand at them. I need to get up to 132 because I saw the competition there on video and they don't seem that talented as in not attempting to tuck in their chins and only throwing straight punches or just trying to brawl.

I've had this bag for about 9 months that's honestly about the only equipment I've ever used to train.
