It's my favorite workout by far. Its a very fickle lift though, I've just recently cut down to doing it every other week because I wasn't making any gains for months. Well see how that helps.

Yeah when I used to lift I learned that the dead lift and squats should really be done like once a week max, for me at least. Really messed up my back and ankles doing them too often.

I still squat and dead lift though, as my only actual heavy weight lift.

I cut squats out completely, my legs were getting too big it was uncomfortable. I couldn't wear nice jeans, my legs started rubbing together causing a rash, big legs IMO is one if the most overrated aspects of weight lifting.

People swear by it, squats squats squats, leg day, etc, it's annoying.

And we don't even need to get into the amount of injuries it causes.

415 is the highest I've gone, I don't use straps or a belt though.

After next week I'm gonna shoot for a new PR. Not gonna lie I still get intimidated by 415 sometimes, been stuck forever too.

In a month or so I'll be doing German volume training again so that will be a nice break from going heavy.

                    Good **** man, any tips?

I did German volume training last year and all my lifts went up. But after that it barely went up, I've been stuck for months.

I took last week off and did my PR this week easily, so after next week I'm gonna try to beat my PR.

Good **** on not using straps or belt, IMO if you can't do it without that stuff, that's your body telling you it's not ready yet. People push themselves to hard, causing injuries.

I've never done sumo, but all the records are done sumo, IMO it's a lot of legs, and less distance, which is why so many people do it that way.
