1 day left. I'm feeling good, I'm not nervous but, I'm on what seems like an adrenaline rush. My senses are maxed and my heart's racing, but my brain refuses to believe I can be beat. The guy I'm fighting has 3 fights, all losses. I was going to use my reach advantage since I'm extremely tall and skinny for my weight, but he's the same height.

I'm trembling but ready, scared but I want it. This is what the last 7 months have been for.

Well, I lost. Nothing I can say to make it better. The guy turned out to be shorter than me by 4 inches and he just held me on the ropes and swung. I just had a chance to watch the video and ****, just terrible. I lost by "split decision" though (which is bull**** should've just called it unanimous) but whatever. I'm upset, angry, but not ashamed. I have another fight Saturday so we'll see how it goes. Back to the gym for now.

it's all part of the learning of the trade.

never be ashamed of a loss, unless you didn't give it your all.

if you gave what you had than that's all that you could do.

remember the fight, note the bad and the good and make adjustments in your training.

then get right back out there and get your first win.

no shame in answering the bells, win or lose.
