We jus go,and after ur there for a while, the trainer talkes to u and teaches u a bit here and there. Then once ur in his stable hes always workin w/ you.
thats a very admirable thing to do

Nope, like i said in a previous thread,i took about a 2 year lay off. Before the lay off i was 67-2 as an amateur and i wanted to turn pro. But my trainer and I had all kinds of problems, i had no education, and i had trouble stayin outa trouble. I got on some trouble, didnt think me turning pro was ever gonna happen,so i jus quit. Then i jus recently came back and won my first fight back, not against the type of opponent im proud of beating,he wasnt all that good. Now im fighting this weekend,i dunno who, could be a hero or a zero. Im not sure if i ever wanna turn pro either, im going to night school now and im tryna get an education before i make any decisions.

I pay £3 a time and go 3 or 4 times a week so it works out at about £12 a week. My gloves wer only £10 but reduced from £50 cos a boxing shop was closing down Same with my gum shield that was £5 but should of been £20

You'll find that most gyms that join tournaments would take you for free if you have the heart to compete or even sparr. Cardio gyms are for people that mainly wanna get in shape and look like a boxer but don't wanna get in a fight. I'm gonna put my son in a gym which goes to tourneys when he turns 7. I myself try to train other soldiers who are deployed with me through training, using my own fight experience and I also use instructional DVDs sometimes. The DVD's are really for me as a brand new coach. Being a boxer and a coach are very diffrent. If you want to box, do it now while your young.
