Mike Tyson fought like a welterweight, had better technique, better footwork, faster hands than most of them too.

But you know, that's Mike Tyson....

    But yeah, it's possible.

I can only jump rope for a couple of minutes at a time right now.
Yeah bud I know the feeling, I sat on my ass for a year when I got hurt and essentially didn't work out at all and still ate the same amount as when i was training 4-6 days a week often 2 a-days. I was accustomed to drinking as I burned it off, but man when I stopped training I bloated up to 258. Now the weight is coming off, and the first thing that did was giving up the booze. It was super hard to cut the crap out, but now I have finally gotten myself to a point where I go 2-3 weeks without having a single drink, which compared to before I was drinking at least a 12 pack a week. The biggest thing is being honest with what you are putting in the pie hole. Then making the necessary changes to fit your goals.

      What is your height?

Well Im happy Im not the only one. I came to the conclusion that I drink so much (case a week at least), that I would have to starve myself and workout like a demon to lose any weight. Doesnt that sound like a healthy way to live. So this morning Im 3 weeks without a drink.

        Oh, Im 6'2"

The way I am doing it is cutting down to 220, and see how I feel, remember what Arnold said, if you jiggle you're fat

And yeah dude that's literally the worst idea ever, I realized the same and now I'm finally on track eating about 5-6 times per day and not drinking regularly anymore. I am in the process of finding out where I maintain the best cardio, and keep the most power. I moved around today for about 3+ rounds and felt better than I have in weeks. So try and stay consistent bud, and work on cutting out the crap, and you will feel like a new man, good luck on your pursuits bud.

A lot of the great heavyweights threw combinations like welterweights, look at Jack Dempsey or Joe Louis or Ali or Tyson.

You have to be in shape though.
