dont worry about ur weight. If u wanna box u wanna box, thats nothing to do with weight. Join a gym and learn, train hard THEN ur trainer will help u decide if u need to lose a few pounds. I dont understand why boxing in a particular division is paramount in ur mind, especially if u've never competed before.Comment

its all about pride I guess, if you fight in the HW division you get more respect supposedly from a non boxing fan then if your a LW or FWComment

I may be 230, but my bench is MUCH higher than that. My strength is great, it's my speed that needs the most work.
I guess the main problem is finding a trainer. I live close to Frankfort KY.
And how does one go Pro?Comment

I have never boxed, but I have been in about 10 or fights...all wins. I know street fights are VERY different from boxing.
The only boxing I have done was one back yard bare knuckel fight. It was against my friend, he's 6' 0'' 215 lbs. I knocked him out in under 30 seconds with a HARD right hook. I know that's nothing compared to the sweet science in the real ring with real opposition, but it's something.
Well, looks like it's running/protein/learn how to box!
Anyone know of a trainer in central Kentucky?
thanks for comments!Comment
