I have a lower back problem ever since my teen days. i think it's something that occurs within my mother's side of the family. there would be times when the pain and discomfort is there. it's been quite a while since i had it again and now it's back.
so since i have shifted from lifting weights a year ago to just boxing this year the problem occurred again. now there is this guy from the gym who told me that since i box all the time and he knows about my problem he told me to buy a boxing shorts instead of just wearing my regular nike shorts. he said that boxing shorts has an extra garter to stabilize your lower back AND it also catches the sweat that runs towards your lower back.
there is a saying here that you should never let your sweat get cold/dry on your back because it gives toxins to your body especially when it drips towards your lower back.
now does this really help a little bit because i have been having problem moving when i box especially during sparring. it's very hard for me to bob and weave and slip from punches because of the discomfort that i am getting.
please let me know thanks!
