hey "greenwitch" "you" have NO right telling therazor87 that he can't come here for advice!! Who the hell are you? This is a training forumj on this site and there are active abnd retired trainers here who have performed on local (state) regional (districts) national (country wide) and international!!
Who have you trained? What gym do you train out of? How many state, regional, national and international fighters have you trained?
What state and country do you hold trainers cards in? Have you established yourself as a coach on an international team???

    Well I HAVE!!

therazora87 your more than welcomed here young man!!! Ray Corso

I'll comment on your bout tomorrow!!

Lol i didn't mean it like that.

Stop being so uppity old man. You know exactly what i meant, as did the kid reading it.

I rarely doubt he needs advice from some internet wizard typing through a keyboard. He'll have coaches for that.

All i was simply saying was, he's way beyond needing anyone's help on here.

And please spare me the 'OH WHO HAVE YOU TRAINED, IVE TRAINED INTERNATIONALS'

You sound like a five year old. No offense.

So without questioning who i've trained...lefts here who you have trained? Name some professionals and i'll boxrec them

I didn't mean it like WHAT? You typed are we supposed to guess the meanings or take what your saying word by word? Answer ALL my questions, then I'll reply to yours! You opened your big mouth first! Spar the rod and spoil the child! So instead of trying to get out of my legitament questions just say you have NO experience in boxing. You never owned or operated a gym and you never trained a fighter to do squat!
Its not a big deal but when you come into the "training forum" on this site you will meet trainers!! So tell me your mentor and where you trained at!
        Enlighten me!
        Ray

If you were any good. You'd have had a load of success at Professional level and be minted by now.

But i doubt you've ever trained Professionals. Can't see it somehow. Bit of level up for you i'd say. I think getting some young amateurs to compete on a national level seems about the end of your rainbow.

And now you're on here, watching young fighters video clips. And then over analyzing them and being far too critical for your own good. Like it's one big competition to be the best on a forum..

No offense, but few coaches and ex coaches use this. It's mainly for fans, you're a big fish in a small pond my friend.

Everyone is welcomed here but if you start yaking above and beyond your limits someone here will question what you know!
There are trainers here from around the world for your information!!
Behave and act respectfull, youir first time here and your telling and active boxer he "doesn't belong here"? This section is where he DOES belong, maybe you need to slide over to where the "fans" are!

Oh come on Ray, you're throwing a strop here.

I get this is what you like doing, analyzing videos. Picking the technique apart. you know stuff

But then you know exactly what i meant by saying that to the kid also, if you honestly think you can help it. By all means do it, i wasn't trying to be insulting to the kid saying he doesn't belong here.

i just believe he's gone a bit beyond the help of someone giving him some typed advice over the internet.

I wasn't intentionally being insulting, if anything i was complimenting the young lad

When I evaluate I stress the negative, its not being negative its correcting! A fighter can only look in a mirror for help the eyes outside the ring are as important as his until he learns as much as his trainer knows!
On here I receive video all the time for evaluations I also get fight clips of coming opponents! I've been retired from active work because of injuries in a motor vehicle accident. I've spent over 50 years in boxing and my mentors where so of the greats names in boxing world wide! Enough of this its to late to "spar with pups" be up front with me and respectfull and you'll get it back in return! Nite! Ray Corso

Absolutely, you have to give them the positives, as well as the negatives. Goes hand in hand really. Not everyone likes hearing the negatives, but that's just life. If you're wanting to improve

I meant no offense to the kid saying he didn't belong on here, I didn't know what to expect on here.

I'm not even going to pass judgement on what you're doing right/wrong.

obviously you must be doing something right to reach this level
You appear to be complimenting the poster by suggesting he is at such a level now that no one on here can give him any worthwhile advice.

However, on the flip side, you are basically saying that no one on here knows enough to help, which most of us will disagree with.

I have just watched about a minute of the first round. I'm not sure which corner The Razor is in but both lads look very good. However, it's clear both lads could improve in several areas and many inexperienced boxers / coaches could easily provide worthwhile advice.
