have u guys ever broken chains off a heavy bag??

Actually today in our gym, one of our heavy bags broke off the chains too.

like i said after alot of hitting chains moving they heat up and weaken so if your chains arent strong enough yes they'll break

i mean think 150 lb bag using chains that can support up to 160 lbs when you start hitting that the chains are gunna weaken and snap try using either higher quality chains or stronger chains

hey mystkal, how is a hard punch supposed to break a chain? is it that you hit the bag so hard dat it swings to fast it rips off the chain? and if dats the case, how much does the bag weigh?

Yeah I and a few guys from the gym have done that before. Also broken severaly speed bag swivels. Chains and swivels just wear down and weaken over time.

I'd be impressed if you actually destroyed the heavybag, like Foreman did!

i wasnt even on the bag that long. i guess it was because I was workin on a 80pound bag first(which chains i have broken also ) but this bag was light hmmmmm like 60lbs. but the funny thing is that the hook broke pretty much not the chains. my bad . when ever i punch bags including our 100lb bag i can hit it with a snapping jab and it will jump and as the bag is still in mid air i can hook it with a left and it goes crazy. crazy power with both hands. ppl tend to stare at my gym but yeah when ever i buy the samsung t-809 from t-mobile i will record my self on the bags and sparring to show u guys what i'm talkin about. but i gotta wait til my income tax check comes in

destroy **** no!! hahaa. i always hit our 100lb heavybag on the very bottom cause theres where its the hardest at. and i put dents in it everytime i throw a body shot. pretty powerful to me considering all the sand is on the bottom
