Oh and I don't mean small handed men can't hit hard, either
    Good, because you'd be wrong!

with bigger hands can hit harder, as more force goes into the punches
Remember that force comes from behind the fist, not the fist itself. Someone with with strong legs and small hands could hit harder than somone with big hands and weak legs. Most punching power comes from the ground.

I totally agree, but what im saying is take a man, then take an identical man and give him bigger hands, the bigger handed man will punch harder.

I'll produce two identical twins and enhance one of their hands and give it a try.

I have quite small hands for a heavy, my fingers are short and stubby, but my knuckes and palms are bulky and big. I can hit hard, does big knuckes have an advantage?

Obviously big knuckles and palms are the main part of the fist, so yes, big knuckles practically is big hands in boxing. And yeah, big arms and a solid frame do help, but it's more to do with a natural aptitude for punching initially.

Marciano's hands were big but not huge sized but they were muscular and heavy. What's important is not neccesarily the surface area of the fist but also the musculature and thickness of the hand. The mass of the fist.

Strengthening the hands is something that is overlooked but is very important. If you have small hands, doing a lot of grip work and putting some meat on your fingers can pay off by giving you a slightly heavier punch, as well as making your hands less prone to injury.

Anyway the point is, yes big hands are definitely an advantage and are one factor among many that contributes to punching power.

Yeah, since (gloved) hands are what your hitting a guy with, they should be strong and powerful as well.

i think it has more to do with bone structure and frame size. big hands indicate big frame, guy with a big frame can punch harder.
