    Big Hands equal Big Power.

I know a lot of you guys seem to want to think smaller hands give people greater punching power, but it really isn't so, in my opinion anyway (and probably yours after this post).

If small hands = big power, then why the **** do all the big punchers posted below have ****ING HUGE hands?

    George Foreman

    Earnie Shavers

Holy ****, Gerald McClellan (above) had massive hands.

The bigger punchers aren't called heavy handed for nothing.

Think of your arm like a teather and your fist is a weight at the end of the teather.. If you have a small weight/fist and hit somebody with it, it's not going to do as much damage as the bigger/heavier weight or fist..

I have fairly big hands and I hit like a rock. But don't kid yourself.. With your big hands, you need arms, chest, shoulders and back.. Punching power is a combo of things really..

It's amazing how some people are born naturally hard hitters. I'm counting my blessings I am one. Unless it's all the bag and weight work I've been doing...

lol, it's not quite as "old wives tale" as that, because it makes sense than a man with bigger hands can hit harder, as more force goes into the punches, as it's practically proven as most or all of the hardest hitters have abnormally big hands.

Oh and I don't mean small handed men can't hit hard, either.
