    Food before Boxing-Training?

    Whats up everybody,

tommorow i'm starting with boxing lessons in the gym and usually the times of training are around 19:00 and 20:00 o clock. My big question though is what to eat before going off to training? Can i eat a full dinner or just a half a plate. Or only a banana or something? Thanx in advance

It is kinda personal. anything that gives you energy and you do not feel too heavy afterwards. Generally, anything with carbohydrates

The emptier my stomach the better...the most I'll eat before I do any sort of hard workout is a piece of banana...maybe some almonds...VERY small portion just to get rid of any sort of hunger.

Gatorade/Powerade. I'll usually drink a bottle before and a bottle during. I don't eat for four hours after training, so the sports drink tides me over.

I usually get some grilled chicken with rice and veggies 3 hours before but everybody is different. Be sure to keep hydrated, very important.

Well the best thing is that don't keep the stomach empty before and workout including boxing . I usually take bananas 1 hour before training which give my body energy .

Before doing boxing or any other exercise it is important to eat something energetic. I think fruits are good to eat. Protein shake is also good choice before doing any exercise because it provides great energy to the body.
