If I knew where you lived or who you were. I would dedicate part of my summer holiday to come visit. I would not quit until we exchanged hello's. I'm on the east and west coast this summer, I'm in the UK next week, asia in august, just let me know where you are and who you are I'd like to hear these exact words in person. They might resonate better.
I'll most likely be in Conneticut for business, for a few weeks in the summer. We could probably meet up then, and do lunch or something, but to be honest, I'm nervous that your internet persona is actually your real personality, and you'd "go into barry-mode" and embarass me in a restaurant.
If you think I wouldn't say these things to you in person, you're most likely wrong. Granted the internet is a nice barrier in case you're some kind of nutjob, and based on your previous statement that you'd "dedicate a portion of your holiday and not quit until we exchanged hello's", I am inclined to believe you are a nutjob.
So most likely, if you showed up at my door one day, the words out of my mouth wouldn't be in relation to boxing, it'd be, "Get off my property!"
However, if you were a level headed dude, I'd love to sit down and assist you with your social ineptness. It'd probably help your business quite a bit, (even if you don't think you need help with your business, it would probably grow 3-5 times what it is now, if you had a little tact)
So, if you're threatening me, then I wouldn't bother talking to you at all. I don't fight anymore, I have a gun and a cell phone, I call the cops, or I shoot if I'm in danger. I don't go fisticuffs with random people I've met on the internet.... sorry.... I still do a bit of sparring, which might be fun, but that again falls under the "if you're not some kind of a nutjob" rule.Comment

lmao, I'm officially a DIB420 fan now.
Everytime I come in here to write my $0.02, I see that about 5 other posters have already said everything that could be said.
Hey, IF EVERYONE is saying the same things about you, chances are... they're right.Comment

**** off, Barry.
I never liked your infantile attitude or self-aggrandizing style to begin with, and apparently I wasn't alone in that.
Oh, and your video "breakdowns" are in desperate need of some post-production. Y'know, someone who can edit out everytime you accidentally restart the film because you don't know what the **** you're doing. But you're Barry Robinson, so I'm sure that in your mind, your completed video works rival the masterpieces left behind by the likes of Sergio Leone or Akira Kurosawa.
Have fun being a weeping little b*tch the rest of your life, and good luck tracking down all the guys who bruised your precious little ego online this summer. I'm certain that'll prove to be a fruitful endeavor.

I read through this god forsaken thread lol. Here is my take.
1. If Barry's goal is truly to be a world class boxing trainer, he may be doing the right thing by not giving so much away online. NO other trainer does this.
2. He does come off a bit thin skinned and the continued hating probably helped influence his decision despite #1
3. I don't agree with everything Barry says, but I agree with most. I like his technical take on the sport and respect ANYBODY pursuing their passion...or even having a passion.
4. I am a relative newbie on here but it seems like Ray Corso has some sort of heightened credibility and tie to Mike Tyson. What is his story?Last edited by mconstantine; 05-14-2013, 01:30 PM.Comment

Ray speaks his mind, and doesn't sugar coat anything, so if you're the type to get mad if you hear something you don't like, you might not get along very well.Comment
