Why is Barry leaving youtube? I find his videos very insightful.

This dude is a fraud who gets exposed with every new ignorant statement he makes. I wouldn't be so harsh on him if he didn't act like Mr Boxing Knowledge who is here to open the eyes of us blind boxing fans. And then when he gets proven wrong he reacts like a child, picks up his toys and leaves. Case in point :

            Barry,

It is not about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Leaving the board won`t prove anything to anybody. There always be people who do not like you or what you are doing regardless your efforts. You gathered 5000+ subscribers on youtube in a short time (i was subscribed to btw), it is quite remarkable. I have impression that you are not certain about your goal: you want just build the audience for your online business or you want make rare quality contributions? Once you clear about your goals, you can safely ignore people who try to put you off the track.

WIsh you best, do not quit, make adjustments and move forward.

People take it easy. I simply don't wish to share my work anymore. It's none of you guys business but I've battled with sharing on youtube or not for years. I had an awesome convo this past saturday with 1 of the best trainers in the world. I was stunned because it was a call from California that woke me up at 4am local time where I live. Anyways I decided saturday to shut it down. When you got something worth teaching and your good at teaching it, it's better to save it for loyal future students.

              Don't/Never presume or assume.
              Peace.

. . . . even when people are kind enough to offer you encouragement and support your response is condescending.

Check my responses to Barry's posts. I never was insulting when commenting on things he had put up initially. I just offered comments and a different point of view of his breakdowns and videos or comments.

In all the years I have been a live, I never seen a grown man be so sensitive to what people say about his videos or comments. I mean if you put something on a PUBLIC forum, then you should expect a lot of idiots responding but when you get intelligent responses, don't get upset.

I didn't respond to respond, it came from my many years of training and just wanting to discuss different ideas and philosophy within boxing. The problem with Barry is, that if you have another idea outside of his own, he makes sure to insult in a sarcastic way and let you know he knows it all.

If you can't have basic conversations with people about things, then what is the point. I have been involved with boxing for over 25 years and as a former boxer and now trainer, I don't come into conversations with people like I know more than they do. I humble myself and try and learn from EVERYONE I meet.

Barry is about himself and his own recognition, he stated that himself from the very beginning. It's a shame because I would have loved to have serious conversations about boxing with him but instead I got insults veiled in sarcasm and condescending comments on almost everything.

I don't care what people think about me, nor do I want to be known or recognized. In boxing you do that by training fighters and letting your work speak for yourself.

Thanks for your continual interest in me.

Someone asked me why I took my account down, I told them. Why do all these people come out of the woods with their personal take... I just told you all why it's taken down. I agree with the trainer on Saturday. I should not share my work publicly and all training physical, mental, should be a secret. It's true no trainers share their work online and I should not either.

I really don't need or value anyone's opinion of why I took MY ACCOUNT down. Either way it does not matter. There are trainers on youtube and boxing forums that participate. It's really not that serious.

I am trying to get this account finished now. You don't gotta be concerned with what I do, how i do it, or how i say it.. Holy ****

Take Care Gents and I'm sure i will see all of you at the top

BS Barry, if that was the case, you wouldn't be so sensitive about everything. You do care, that's the problem and I'm not you're enemy or even trying to disrespect you.

I think you do know about boxing, not everything but you are knowledgeable. Like I said, I think you and I could have had great conversations about the sport because we are both trainers and adults. You just chose not to for whatever reason.

I have been asked to make a youtube channel much like yourself and I don't do it simply because I believe (just my opinion) that you cannot teach boxing on the computer, you need to be in the gym working and watching first hand.

Now, I have no issue with you promoting yourself and making a channel and so on but you can't expect everyone to just praise you all the time Barry, it's unrealistic and you need to have thicker skin. You should know of all people (or maybe you don't know I'm not sure) that you will be criticized by everyone in this sport. The proof is in the pudding, what you're fighters results will be will be your results.

It's unfair as you know because the most frustrating thing about being a trainer is the fact you can teach and teach, but sometimes fighters don't follow. Patience is a big part of it.

Sorry to see you go Barry, I sincerely thought we could have some intelligent discussions as men. I was wrong.
