I've lost weight

      umm Soooo I started at 265lbs

      Then I completely changed my eating habits..which is not easy ask anyone starting a diet I use to eat taco bell and macdonalds at Midnight-2am.

      I No longer eat fast food/candy/chips/soda. The only outside food Ill touch is Chipotle and subway maybe 2-3 times a week.

      Im down to 259lbs just cutting out the crap.

      Yesterday I half jog/walk 3miles at the park.
      Today After 1 mile I wanted to quit because my tibia muscles hurt bad they are tender and sore. So i took a 20minute break. then walked 1 mile then half jog half walked the last one. I got home and wanted to puke.

      I will weight myself next wednesday. My legs hurt!

      Is that fasting crap something that cud work for a fatty like me? or should I wait till im like 220ish...and can someone explain how it works (eating 2pm-8pm only)

        For you, as long as you are staying at a caloric defecit you will lose weight, you could try IF, but I find its better to get on it when you hit a plateu of weight loss.

        Simply put, if you are losing, you don't need to change what you are doing.

        One tip, start lifting now, even if it's only light weights. I am regretting that I didn't start lifting on 1st jan as now i've lost a lot of the fat i'm starting to look like a skinny ***** lol.

        If you start lifting now, when you have cleared out a fair amount of the fat you will have some muscle underneath

        • Been following this post for some time, I gotta say impressive work earl and everyone else cutting the fat. I used to weigh over 260lbs around 6-7 yrs ago. I got myself down to 185lbs through hard dieting and cardio. I started boxing in November 2012 and this jan I really got my head down. I'm currently 168lbs with maybe few lbs of fat in the hard to loose areas, I'm now going to try put 6-8 lbs of lean muscle on! I would post some pics but not sure how to

              Thanks Earl! Yea I think I did a calc..2900-3000 calories to maintain 260 I estimate that I am eating 1400-1700 per day. Um ya I know what u are saying I see some before and after pics of ppl that lose 60+lbs and they look soft as hell, I do bicep curls every other day 20lbs high reps and triceps want to have defined arms when I get lighter and I need to benchpress don't want moobs! I wanna be able to run around shirtless. Mylegs are still hurtin from 3mile days..after work today ima go do 3 more miles on the epiliptical hopefully easier on my legs

              • Today I hit 175lb, my original goal weight, took just over 2 months.

                I no longer look "fat" but still have a little bit of belly fat etc.

                Now though I'm going to go into full on muscle building mode, probably for at least 6 months, then I'llcut at the end of that

                I'll post some shots from other angles so you can all see what I'm starting with

                I'm aiming for 15lb lean muscle in 6 months which I'm told is aiming high
