If you training for boxing, better find somewhat smaller stones and throw them to develop proper punching motion. I saw Marquez was doing it in 24/7. Just deadlift... maybe it is good for the grip, wrist

Marciano and Jose Urtain
used to train by lifting and throwing large stone. They both had very similar physiques
