You can't just bury your head in the sand on the premise that people have always traditionally done something. Well, you can, and you can still be a good boxer, but then it isn't either calisthenics or kettlebells that really makes a good boxer.
Calisthenics are superior for me because I'm working solely with my own bodyweight. Less of a risk that I'll add any muscle.

Good God would you kindly fuck off?

Simply picking up a weight a lifting it a few times is not going to turn you into a bodybuilder or even result in any acquisition of LBM

You are a fucking imbecile. You come in here with your bro-science, personal experiences, and anecdotal crapola and try to pass it off as fact and intellect.

      Just go way, please

Kettle bells and calisthenics can both easily lead to muscle gains depending on what your routine is. This statement is quite ****ing weird.

Kettlebells, calisthenics, dumbbells, barbells etc are simply tools used to supplement your boxing training, depending on what your goals are. Identify what it is that you need work on(i.e. endurance, explosive strength) and create a program to suit your needs.

Can you provide a verifiable source to back up your cliams. If I'm not mistaken I believe EATING is what made a person big, not lifitng.

Some people swear by them. I have only basic experience with them and they're great, especially on a budget (they're quite cheap). They're at around the price range of a medicine balls though.... Which I prefer..but that's a different story. Anyway, as someone mentioned. Look up some workouts I'm sure there's many out there I never thought of. I've been thinking of buying one to be honest but my routine(s) are hard to break :|

                    Who pissed in your Cheerios?

There are many schools of thought on the use of weights for boxing. Many trainers who have produced far better boxers than you will ever be believe that working with weights can lead to hypertrophy.

Oh, and start light. About half of what you would lift with a dumbbell.
This ^^^. I honestly can't praise them enough! My missus bought some pink ones ages ago and I've used them more than anyone. Good job no one see's me though, swinging that pinkyness all around!
