As to the tennis ball/hat.......I'd prefer my fighter to get extra rest instead of using any time with that thing.
As to the you ng man working a Hvy bag, find a good "pro" trainer who could teach you how to use your shoulders and hips to gain some power. Right now your an arm puncher and in the amatuers if your busy enough its ok but when you fight for money the first thing you need to have is power. No power, No respect!
Your right foot is pointing straight ahead when you throw your right hand, why? You need to sit down on your legs and turn your hip and shoulders and punch "through" the bag. When you work speed keep your elbows down and in and step over quickly and let your hands go. When its power time you need a different out look and the techniques change. Learning the amatuer style is easy for any coordinated young man, learning how to punch with power and then to increase it takes a pro trainer and you can't learn it on the net. Find a pro who can assist you. Until then just work your speed techniques. Find the guy!!!! Ray.
