Put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to get up to stop it and lay your clothes out ready so you don't have to mess around looking for stuff. Used to work for me!

It's all mental and self discipline.

Don't get up and go back to sleep.. get up and force your ass to moving and starting to run.

I, myself, would get up at that time to run, too. Now, I do my running mid-day when the sun is highest, but morning runs are better, in my opinion.

I never understood the point of running that early, I personally like to run at night. I don't see any difference other than because running that early feels more old school.

Load up your iPod with some good, energetic music but don't listen to it until you get up to run. If you have a dog take him with you. Once you get up early, keep fighting the urge to stay in bed. If you do this 21 times it will become a good habit. Try and see how many times you can get up early and get your workout. Also, talk to other early birds/joggers. Oh and brag about it a lot! This always keeps you motivated. Only the weak make excuses!

Go ahead, just stay in bed. In the long run, it isn't going to matter much. Missing your runs once in a while is okay, right? You went to bed late, you had a few drinks the night before, you're too tired... it's not like anyone else will know. When you're on the bag, and you gas out a little early, when you're sparring and struggling for breath whilst the other guy is going strong, or when you step on the scale only to be disappointed, no one will notice. But more importantly, they're not going to notice any progress in any other areas. Because you've got no willpower; immediate gratification is more important to you than your long term goals. Being weak is an important trait in those that settle and never achieve their ambitions. Enjoy your lie-ins.

I'm also a teenager, don't be lazy, I now wake up in the morning at around 3-4 am and go for a 6.2 mile run then either sleep after or stay awake, THE REASON FOR YOUR DISTRESS IS ACTUALLY YOUR BELIEF THAT THERE IS AND/OR WILL BE DISTRESS, YOU DON'T DREAD THE THING, DON'T FEAR YOUR FEAR OR DREAD YOUR DREADING AND YOU ACTUALLY REALIZE THAT THERE IS NOTHING TO DREAD AND IT'S OK, also, Have a big breakfast, I like 150g of Oats with some Truvia, Philly Choco Spread and with water, there's no point in milk to me since the flavors overpower it i probably wanted to share some knowledge and went completely off topic but whatever

You should try a different time of day if possible, as some people have more energy and motivation in the afternoon/evening.

If you are already training daily and only a teenager then you're likely in pretty good physical shape. Maybe how bad you feel going running early is your body telling you that you're over-doing it a bit.
