        in a word:

        diet

        these guys have big frames and bones for the amount of weight they carry going into a weigh in

        they boil their bodies down via the work and running that they do, as well as a severely retarted (less food,) diet.

        over time the proper conditioning and trianing routine and your diet will shape your body into that of a boxer in your weight class (that which you need, without that which you do not.)

            its genetic, i know bcuz im bigger than all of em for my weight, including hearns and williams.

            im over 6'3 & 1/2 and fight at 152lbs, or will be fighting at 152 i should say. all my past fights ive been at 141. i expect to be about 148-150 next fight and that my heaviest weight ever by far. im not a skinny guy neither, i have pretty wide shoulders, that typical tall boxer bodytype.

            i dont do anythign to keep my weight down, the oposite if anything. i usually lose weight when im out of the gym and gain it when i start training again. even when i was younger and didnt have any diet at all and ate like a pig i still made weight without trying. i still eat more than anyone on my team now (even though its healthy food) and make weight easier than anyone. its mainly about methabolism.

            in other words you will never be able to become a big man like hearns or khan if you werent born that way. if you want a size advantage you will have to take the brandon rios route and cut alot weight, which is ******ed for an amateur to do bcuz you have nowhere near enough time to get the water back in your system before the fight.

              Because muscles are denser but lighter than body fat.You could bulk up with muscles, but will still weigh less than someone who's fat or obese.

                I'm not trying to argue with you but density directly effects mass.
                If something is more dense and the same volume it will weigh more.

                  This is the equation in case you doubt me.
                  Density = mass
                  /volume

                    Ts seems to not realize that almost every single fighter, except for fat HW's, cut weight for the weigh-in that takes place 36 hours before a pro fight.

                    A boxer might diet for 8 to 6 weeks and lose the last pound in a sauna or a running on the treadmill with a sauna suit.

                    Some fighters drink liters and liters of water 2-3 weeks before a fight to make the body produce water shedding hormones, making it a lot easier to lose water weight.

                    It's not rare that a fighters cut 20 to 30 pound in a training camp .

                    Ofc a fighter rehydrate and regain a lot of weight after the weigh-in's are finished
