Thanks guys, for all the advices. However I have this question,
When I first told my coach that I would like to move to a new gym, he told me
"Ok, go ahead. I respect you for trying to achieve your goal (box in an american college) and I'm sad but it's just that my gym wasn't exactly the place for you."
But now when I was about to change, he's all like
"No you can not change gyms. It's better for you to stay here and build your body and techniques."
I just remembered this and I was like wtf which is IT?
what do you guys think?

Well a big reason for a person wanting you to stay is obviously money.
But honestly it's up to you. You have to evaluate what you are gaining by staying at that gym and how far you want to take it. If your not seeing any gains or getting better, then it's obviously a place you don't want to be. If your seeing improvement then it's best to stay. Just don't mess around with your situation though. Because it will eventually take you to a place where the coach you have now won't want to have you there.
As far as being weak bodied. That's on you. Most boxing coaches don't emphasize conditioning. They will tell you to run and what-not but most of them don't emphasize great conditioning. Before someone comes on here and goes ape shit with this comment. Just look at Pacquiao. Strength coach. Khan strength coach. Floyd knows this on his own. Ricky Hatton strength coach. Martinez has been pro in 3 different sports, he knows about this. But they all don't get emphasis from their boxing coaches for conditioning.
Your gonna have to make it a point to get stronger. Research stuff and start applying it to your daily life. Just running won't cut it. Running 8 miles a day or week, doesn't cut it. Strength and conditioning is much more than just running and some pushups and sit ups.
I personally like you as a boxer. You remind me of manga like Ippo. If I was a coach, i'd have you as a boxer in my stable. I'm not even joking either.Last edited by F l i c k e r; 10-25-2011, 10:25 PM.

Man how old are you? Like 15? Someone tell me how do you toughen up a 15 year old physically. You don't? I could be wrong though.
Lol at this "body breaking down". Some people may be prone to injuries but imo it's just rare. Once you get injuries and don't let them heal you will be injury prone, bad technique etc. wil help too. For example I've had **** ton of injuries and still have but looking back it wasn't becase my body was "weak". It was because the younger me didn't have any ****ing brains, went full on 24/7 and had the sense of immortality. Chronic injuries? Naaaah that **** will heal! Snowboarded for three days with a torn cartilage and a fracture in my shoulder. Yeah, it totally healed. Anyways smart training will get you far regarding injuries. Sports in general cause many injuries, you just have to be smart about it.

do not hesitate, i've seen these sparring videos of you, sorry but that's crap for a 9 month boxer. do you think that you'll be ignored? well you are ignored in your gym too. you said that you don't even know how to throw an uppercut. that's bad man. i wouldn't stay a minute in your gym, although the enviroment is warmest ever.

true. and the bad teaching actually doesn't apply only for me, the only people in the gym who knows defense, uppercuts, head movements, etc are either former professionals or amateur fighters (as far as i can remember there are only 3; one guy who i got beaten by and two ladies.) or people from other gyms who come just to spar. everyone else, who come here for fitness, i can assure you, can only do the same thing as i do. throw one-two, and a left hook. thats it. an they don't even spar.

Then you should definitely leave. You want to take boxing seriously right? Then you should leave.
Go to Imaoka Gym. It's run by a former OPBF champ. So quality should be high.
It may be a little expensive though. One in Shibuya and the other gym in Shinjuku. Everything in those areas are expensive.

hey flicker, thanks for the suggestions, however i live in nagoya so i can't go to a gym that's like 300 miles away lol.
im thinking of going to the chunichi boxing gym, i don't know if anyone has ever heard of this gym before but there is an african trainer there, as well as couple of people from america, mexico and Philippine. but that like only a third of who the gym consists, the rest are all japanese people, but considering the fact that there are many american people, to me who can't speak japanese for **** i want to go there, it has an international environment. the train + bus fee might be a bit pricey but im thinking of doing part time jobs on sat&sun.
boy it's going to be really hard to tell my coach, he stopped me once and gave me some time to think about it. but i think i havee my answer.

The guy with the best rec in that gym had 4-3.
I might not mean much but it can still be a lot better then your former gym.
Maybe they let people fight too early, I don't know.
