Your lucky. If I was 6'4" I'd be playing quarterback right now.
I'm 5'10". I haven't weighed myself in a while, not since my knee injury. My football playing weight was 191. But I feel much more athletic now than ever before. Judging from the look, I'm not under 12% bf. Close though, maybe 16%. Not sure. May have to head over to a department store and get myself a scale.

I lost masses of weight because i stopped working out and became a student living on 2 minute noodles.
over the course of 3 years i lost 50lb, Went from a 36" waist to a 32", i looked at a photo of myself taken a few weeks ago and i look ill, like seriously seriously underweight, shoulder bones and ribs showing, grey pallour, just awful, for someone who used to be considered a "big guy" and prided myself on my physique this was really upsetting to see that pic.
Time to get back to where i wasLast edited by Earl-Hickey; 10-13-2011, 05:23 AM.

i hope you are joking...
to the TS, gaining weight, if you want to boil it down, is about eating more (a lot more) and adding weight to the work that you do in your gym over time.
finish your sets with low reps and try and put more weight on as you go from week to week if you can.
especially if you are young, you can always get stronger and bigger than your regular / moderately fit walking weight
you want//need proportion. lots of guys go to the gym wanting bigger shoulders arms and chests, and see results right away, but peak rather quickly. if you arent working out your back, core, and legs (especially your legs) your body wont want to gain any more weight in any of those other areas.
eat five or more good sized meals a day
eat until you feel full
drink lots of water and milk. lots and lots of water.
take a protein shake after you work out as quickly as you can.
drink one more before you go to bed.
work out 3-4 days a week when you are starting out. once you become conditioned (maybe a year or so) you can lift 4-6 days a week and not be overtrained.
you should be feeling sore in the area that got the most work the day after you work out
work one muscle group a day/once a week or two simmilar groups a day if you prefer.
this is all preference, and should be switched up after every few months. in time you'll find how work with one affects the other (for example, most of the things you do for your back will work your biceps and grip,) and what works best for you
take a week off once in a while
or a few days off
muscle soreness isnt ususally a problem if you are stretching right, drinking enough water
if your bones and joints are feeling daily pain, however, you are becoming overtrained and need a break.
if you're looking to gain weight the most important aspect of your routine is the food that you eat. make sure it is healthy but substantial.
