It is almost all about your diet. Cardio actually has minimal impact on fat loss. Keep lifting weights, this is more important than cardio.
With your diet it depends what weight you are at. When I started taking my health seriously I lost weight easily just from cleaning up my diet, however you reach a point where you need to regulate and count your calories pretty seriously to drop any more weight.
So yeah, keep lifting, regulate your calories closely. That is the best way to drop weight. Cardio is easily the third most important of the three.
I should also add that you can "eat good foods" or whatever and still go way over the number of calories you should be consuming to maintain your current weight.
the reason you are gaining weight is because you are putting on muscle
if you want to lose weight just do cardio and stop hitting the weights
ehh... And where do you think the muscles come from? A calorie excess.
Simply put threadstarter. You eat too much. It doesn't matter if it's "clean food" if it's more than you need.
Use something like fitday to track how much you get in your system, and evaluate accordingly.
Stop lifting weights if you wan't to lose more muscles than needed when on a calorie deficit.
