  • Tighten up stomach/abdominal muscles.

    Apart from situps can you guys give me any good exercises that will help tighten up this area.

    By the way i have no equipment whatsoever.

      Planks are the easiest and most beneficial from an athletic standpoint. They can be done almost anywhere and they can easily be made more difficult with some type of stable heavy object on your upper back.

            I'm not really a big fan of Hammer-Strength equipment...but this piece by far is the best ab workout I have ever tried...it works your entire abdominal lower as well as upper abs. It's usually the lower abs where people are very under developed. You will need to find a gym that has it.

                Very Slow Crunches 3x20 (increase resistance with weight once it gets easy)
                Explosive Elbows to Knees 3x20
                Bicycles 3x30
                Russian Twists 2x12
                Plank 3x45secs/Supersets/Static Crunch Hold 3x45secs
                Side Plank 2x45 secs
                Lower Back Raises 3x15

                Also Deadlists, Squats and taking punches (makes you tense) is all good for that area! Running is also very important.

                  Sit ups, crunches etc will only make you have a stronger core. Best way to strengthen your core is deadlifts PERIOD!

                  If you want to see your abs then you need to sort your diet out & do plenty of cardio & burn/strip away the layers of fat to reveal them.
