and on the bottom of the rope tie a weight (5 lbs should be ok)
turn the dowel in your hands to wind the wight closer to the dowel
and repeat to bring the weight closer to the ground
like giving an indian sunburn, only you're rotating the entire dowel
your forearms will thank you
they will be ripped in a few months if you do this a few times a day, a few days a week.

It wont help u box and i dont know if it helps ur grip either (which u dont need for boxing) but the best way to get big in the forearms is simple wrist curls, palms up and palms down also reverse grip curls too for the upper forearm and u wont need much weight
