well i box and cut weight all the time. unless ur training 4 a fight, u don't need all that nutrient breakdown ****.

all u need is 1 of the following:

-- boxing + running + maintaining ur current diet.
-- boxing + running + slight reduction in current diet.
-- boxing + running + large reduction in current diet.
-- boxing + running + low carb diet

i mean maybe once in awhile u'll feel sluggish or grouchy or whatever? but i mean come on deal with it. u saw on 24/7 even cotto gets grouchy cutting weight so...

I would really not carb up...Try a balanced diet that mean some Fat 25-30 percent by calories in your diet..When you train intensely you need two energy streams..One comes from Carb metabolism the other from fat metabolism..You will have alot more energy is you balance your diet and not try to amp up just one side of the Energy production. You don't want to come out of your quest for health with Metabolic Syndrome.. from eating to much carbs..

Like another poster said, don't worry about loading up on carbs. 313g sounds like too much. Make sure to eat balanced meals that are well portioned, and eat 5-6 times a day. They will be smaller than what your used to, but it will help give you more energy and will also promote weight loss. Another major thing people have tendency to forget, drink water, all the time, wherever, whenever, drink water. You'll sweat your ass off boxing and you need to stay hydrated.

Yo man the best advice I ever got was listen to your body. Your gunna work out the best when you feel the best. I would recommend that you start to really keep track of how eating certain things makes your feel. Also the eating 5 to 6 times a day is the best thing to do in my opinion and if your feeling sluggish try eating a piece of fruit about 45 minutes before your workout and see how you feel. Find out what works for you.

What are your goals? if it's to cut fat, then I'd suggest doubling your protein level to 150g per day and cut down on carbs to as little as possible after workouts. Light 30-40 exercise on empty stomach / green tea only is a good fat cutter, hard in the long run, but will get it down over 4-6 weeks. Before breakfast the body is low on glycogen (sugars) so you're straight into the fat for energy, just keep it light (e.g. bike, walk, light jog). Make sure you're eating good carbs too (brown rice, oatmeal, potatoes, whole grain breads & pastas).

                    Hope that helps.
