    Yeah man running everyday is not good for your joints , ive been training and fighting for a long time and my routine is 4 days on 1 day off , to much on your knees and ankles

      Whatever you do, you need to give your muscles a rest for recovery. Also dont make your muscles adapt to your activity. Why not try to run 5 kms in 30 mins or try to run longer than 5 kms or simply do sprints at least twice a week.

        i used to be able to before i was 24 thats when the flat feet finally caught up to me. i didnt get planter fastiutus or how ever u spell it but i was close. im still breaking in these good feet inserts. i dont feel pain or anything in my joints the next day.

          If he's just starting out running, yes he does. Muscles/joints won't be used to the strain and take time to get used to it. Especially if he's heavier and is running to try and lose weight. That's alot of weight coming down on knees and ankles that aren't used to taking that much.

              I imagine most of you being out of shape. I run a 5k in about 21 minutes. Would like to get it down below 18.

                  Doesn't really matter what he weighs because 40 minutes is slow for a fat chick. I'm 225 pounds and 21 minutes is not difficult to hit on a daily basis. I mean 7 minute miles for 3 miles? Is this a boxing forum or fat camp?
