well i was just wondering what negative effect drinking will have. i have been dry since i started boxing but im not sure why lol. im young, im startign to wonder if im missing out on my social life a bit. would it damage me if i went out drinking on a friday / saturday seeing as i dont have trainign till a mon / tuseday again?? next year is uni for me and everyone drinks there. what negative effect dose it have?? thnaks

Depends what you want in life. You want to be champ then you shouldn't even be asking this question. If you want to be just like everyone else, a regular joe, then go right ahead. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices

bro go out an enjoy yourself from time to time.....dont drink 4 nights a week, but when your legal age to drink go out and have a few...be safe but dont overdue it...just use common sense. if you get ****** up do it the night before a day off...trying to train even slightly hungover is not a good move...just be smart and safe. if your training for a fight i would avoid it of course during that time

ok thanks man. origionaly i stopped drinkign jsut to loose weight. but now im not bothered about that as im trying to move up a weight class. i train grappling on a monday and wensday and boxing tuseday, thursday and friday. so i wont be hung over boxing.

1 day or maybe 2 shouldnt be too bad, depends on how many days you train.
Not everyone who does boxing becomes a world champ, depends on what you want to get out of it.
