Top 5 tips to lose fat

    Which would yours be?

    Mine are:

    1) Don't eat food especially carbs late at night
    2) Do some weights as bigger/stronger muscles increase metabolism
    3) Drink plenty of water
    4) Avoid foods with 'empty calories' and try stick to natural foods
    5) Run

(Note obvious ones such as 'cut out the big macs' don't count, only ones which your average joe might not know)

Sprint training. Number that 1-5. Absolutely phenomenal fat-burning capabilities.

That, & the old addage, "Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gymnasium."

eat lean, work out your bigger muscles as they burn more fat, drink plenty of water, eat lean, do HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and get proper rest.

Have a whey protein shake before your every meal.
          This helps in two way
1)empty space in your stomach is gonna be occupied, so you are gonna eat more
2)whey protein was actually proven to decrease the insulin ****es, which in turn makes you more sensetive to insulin and helps burn fat.

The % of fat you lose by eating carbs in the morning vs. eating carbs at night is statistically insignificant.

Meaning if you're trying to make weight for a fight by this Friday, and every fraction of a pound counts-- then do that.

If you're trying to lose 20 ***** lbs.-- eating carbs in the morning, afternoon, or night doesn't matter-- what matters is REDUCING CALORIC INTAKE.

Uh...How is it people stranded on deserted islands manage to lose weight, despite being dehydrated to **** because they are surrounded mostly by undrinkable saltwater, having only very little pond and rain water to sustain them?

Yep. You guessed it: REDUCED CALORIC INTAKE.

            Tell you want:

FAT GUY #1 eats nothing but 1,000 calories of Potato Chips every single day for a month.

FAT GUY #2 eats nothing but 2,000 calories carrots every single day for a month.

Guess what happens? FAT GUY #1 loses more weight why??? Yep. REDUCED CALORIC INTAKE.

OK but fat people reading this will run for 10 minutes, come home, and think that's license to eat a healthy "granola bar".

And then before the next time he runs, Fat Lard Face will drink a healthy "protein shake" before his 10 minute run. Then when he comes home he'll eat a healthy "salad" because it doesn't have any "empty calories".

Key is to diet. No way round it.

(The above applies to fat people-- not talking to Athletes, people in training, etc. who know their bodies far better than people on message boards do)

I reduce my calories intake to 1,600. Then I work out and burn from 500-1000 calories. I started on monday so let see how it plays out.

Theres a difference between losing weight and losing fat.

If you burn enough calories, more than you would consume, and your body is past using its glycogen stores, your body will start to burn muscle.

There's a science to it, plenty of books out there that go in greater detail on just burning "fat"

Bottom line is if u take too much of what u need you will gain weight. It is pretty much simple actually, eat whatever you want and can but exercise is very important.

Duh, I was probably half asleep when I wrote this.
number 1 should be "so your are gonna eat less"
