Trust me when i say EYE'S, eyes give away everything, if you dont look in there eyes you get lost and end up not seeing punches comming. I duno anything about these guys tht r saying chest and other **** but im pretty sure they have never had a proper boxing fight before because u wount get very far looking at someones chest thts some bull **** advice right there. Trust me as a active amature boxer when i say look in there EYES.
The eyes won't tell you ****! When is the last time that you saw a fighter hurt anybody with their eyes. Now you being an active amatuer is great. But I would venture to guess that you are a novice of less than 10 fights. If it's your gig then by all means look them in the eyes. Just please let me know when you have a show coming up so that I can have a Detroit boy there to whoop that ass. Oh, and I've had plenty of proper fights...............Rockin'

If you ever fought against an advanced boxer that has the habit of keeping one arm down at waist level and you'd keep looking in the eyes you'd get hit 90% of the time.

ive had plenty more fights than 10..........................but anyway, in my opinion i find looking at gloves or chest i get lost in a way where once i thrown my first phaze of attack i start to lose my bearings. where as if im looking at there eyes i feel more together with my positioning and bearing so i can throw my first phaze or attack out or a counter then be ready set for my next move...................i spose its a what works for you to a certain degree, but ive always been told look in the eyes and ive always heard trainers telling people look in the eyes

That's Pac and Mayweather, if I don't have a visual of what's about to hit me I'm going to get hit, because I don't have Pac's or Mayweather's skills training and experience. That;s just me of course, I'd rather have that arm my opponent just droped in sight.
Oh wait, did you say look in his eyes while your fighting? My bad, you are right. Look him square in the eyes and you will see everything that his fists, waist, shoulders and feet do... My bad..............Rockin'
