Swimming the best Cardio exercise?

I think that if jogging makes you tired, whereas swimming leaves you feeling as if you can do it all day, then jogging is likely to increase your stamina because obviously it pushes you harder. But then again you don't have to tire yourself in order to have a good cardio session.
When I do cardio, I go jogging. Aside from being cheaper than swimming, I have a football field near my house whereas the swimming pool is further away and not open 24/7 like the field is.
That being said, if you enjoy doing something and it's working for you then stick with it. If you enjoy it then you're more likely to continue long-term, and if you only have concrete to run on and it's causing you problems then that's just another reason to stick with swimming.

If it's not the best, it's damn close.
Running on treadmills and doing Roadwork is very stressing to your joints and connective tissue.
Swimming is much easier on your joints and can provide just as if not a better workout that running for distance.
Not to say running doesn't have it's place but it's important to mix it up.

if you are boxing running is irreplaceable....assuming you dont have a fat ass to lean on for 12 rounds.
