I have done many different types of training through the years. But nothing got me as strong and fast as working for a fire wood company.
The 5 day week consisted of splitting wood for three quarters of the day. And throwing fire wood into a dump truck for a quarter of the day. I always took it easy on the weekends. After six months of this kind of work my hands were faster with more power.
If you can't find this kind of work. You could always just swing a sledge hammer or splitting Maul into a log or even the ground. And for simulating throwing fire wood into a dump truck. You could just throw a medicine ball high off a wall.
This is how the day would go if you plan on taking up this kind of training.
Start with 2 hrs swinging your sledge or splitting maul as hard and as fast as you can.
Take a 15 min break drink some water have a snack if your want.
Start swinging again as hard and fast as you can for 1 hr and 45 min.
Take a 30 min lunch.
Next you swing as hard and fast as you can for 2 and 1/2 hrs.
Take a 15 min break have something to eat and drink if you want.
The final 1 hr 45 min throw the medicine ball high off the wall as fast as you can let it fall to the ground then repeat.
5 days on 2 days off if after 6 months you are not faster and stronger your body does not work like mine.
The first 3 weeks this kind of work is very hard. But after 6 months it was getting easier for me. After a year I was in the best shape of my life at the age of 20. And I got paid to train.
