I was in Toronto in July and I love the down town. I understand your problem. The transit is really expensive and I hate the token system. I had the luck that i knew someone there who drove me to the boxing gym. I lived near the King's Road if you know where this is. I trained 8 minutes further (with the car) from the place I lived. The place was called Variety Village. I don't really know where Etobicoke is and I don't know if I helped you, but I wish you much luck on searching for a good gym and making a carreer as a boxer.

    Peace,

    Reem
What was the name of the gym again?

They're one of the top gyms in Ontario, maybe even Canada. Lot of top fighters train there and they've produced a bunch of provincial and national champions.

Lucky for you they've just updated their websitse, it used to be years out of date.

Hey, thanks for that bro. That is the gym closest to my house so I think I have no other choice but that, even though it might take a while, maybe couple of months until I sign up.

        Cheers man.

Edit: Did they move or what? Because on another website, I found the same club but with a different address?!

Doubt it. Their website says they're in the hungarian house building and that's where they've been for years.

I got this address: 15 Milford Ave., Unit 3, Toronto, ON, M6M 2W1, Canada on this website http://www.boxinghelp.com/canada.html so I thought that was the address but looks like it isn't since you mentioned the Hungarian house building.

By the way, have you heard of Spartan Boxing Club? Probably not but just found it on that same website and it's like 35 mins walking from my house.

Looking at the new address, looks like no public transit can take me there unless I go with a car or walk, which would be best to ride a bike. Let's say I can ride the bike now, what about when it rains and snows? I really don't know what to do.

                  Ahh ok.

I guess the only thing I'm left to do is ride a bike to Atlas Boxing Club. I actually contacted one of their best fighters on FB and he said "if you're looking to compete, then come to Atlas." Looks like it's a great gym and they got some of the best trainers, according to what the guy told me.

I hear it's very expensive, plus, according to Google maps, no train or bus can take me to Atlas Boxing Club.
