Anyone Familiar With Cytosport (Muscle Milk)?

ever since i started working out i have been using Next Level Nutrition Lean Pro Matrix as my protein shake. i like it a lot but i keep hearing about this Cytosport's Muscle Milk and i tried those ready made ones and i liked the taste a lot. the thing is i have tried energy boosters, creatine and fat burners. my question is do i still have to continue using those or not? should i just stick to natural training and just take protein shakes? if ever i would still take those extra help booster for working out which company or product is really good?

What are your aims? Boxing? Gain muscle? Lose fat? General fitness?

I've not used the product, but I just looked the nutritional information up online and IMO you're better off using regular whey that is just protein and zero/very little carbs+zero/very little fat, rather than something that contains sugar and saturated fat. So if it I were you, I'd stick to the one you're using at the moment. But I don't know what your aims are...

Like Clegg said, it really depends on what you want to accomplish.

If you're just looking to add muscle, I would say stick with the protein and eating properly. The creatine will add size, but if you stop working out you lose that size really fast cause its most likely water weight.

I would say stick with your daily diet and protein shakes. Vitamins as well.

There are other supplements you could get into such as BCAA's and glutamine but eating properly taking vitamins and just protein shakes should suffice.

Just general fitness and lose fat. i don't want to gain i just want to get toned. just the regular stuff. i do boxing sometimes if i get the time but it's just for a regular workout not to turn pro or what not. people usually say negative things about cytosport/muscle milk but i dunno why it's popular.

That muscle milk is overpriced imo. I just buy one of those giant jugs of powdered whey, and mix it with milk and cinnamon. Just pay careful attention to ingredients (don't need sugar of any kind or any other crap). If you can afford it muscle milk is more convenient, but if not you're wasting money.

Muscle Milk is one of the worst protein mixes/ pre-made drinks there are. Go to a local supplement shop and pick up some IDS Whey-Protein. I've found that this brand mixes the best with water (ultimately what you want to use, not milk) and has great taste.

Not a good product, and it's overpriced. You just end up paying for all that ******ed advertising. I'd look elsewhere if I were you.

I'd highly suggest Gaspari Myofusion chocolate.

                It taste's pretty good.

And the results I got from using Gaspari were way better than the results I got from using Muscle Milk.

Ive tried it. Was ok but wasnt thrilled with what was in it lot of fat etc.

Hemp protein is better than whey so I only use hemp protein powders as of now. The taste is in some cases not so good but who cares if it is good for you and works.

I usually rotate around with these..

Olympian Labs Ultimate Greens Protein 8 in 1
                  Lifetime Lifes Basics Hemp Protein
Spirutein (actually soy but I like the taste and have been using for years)
                  Nutiva Hemp Shake Chocolate Superfood
