[QUOTE=the330ballers;8934917]I cant believe you guys can already tell from that round. I gassed in this fight and lost a decision. I'm really mad I couldn't throw more when in sparring I was throwing more combinations, here it was all 1-2 1-2 1-2... I'm now 0-2. I'm uploading round 3 right now..
Heres round 2
not bad for 2 fights. Instead of just throwing 1-2s, hook of da jab, throw some body punches, right leads, get in move your head and counter,.... switch it up. not bad.Comment

Were you really amp'ed up for this fight? I'm just wondering if you gas'ed because you couldn't really relax. Not being relaxed may also be why you weren't able to use different combonations like you normally do. If so I'd probably chalk this loss up to nerves more so than conditioning. Cuz you gas'ed pretty early in the first round. And with you running the way you stated you shouldn't be tired that soon. That said you were better skilled and more athletic than he was. Got some good tools. And I'd like to see you fight again when you're stamina or whatever it was is fixed.Comment

It think it also helps for a fighter to really watch some fights before he gets in the ring. I was at a competition last Saturday that I wasn't participating in. Before that, I had never watched an amateur fight since I was always the one fighting and was really just focusing on getting myself prepared. For some reason I think watching made me more comfortable with what I'm up against and will help me big time in the next fight. You don't wanna get thrown in the ring not knowing what to expect....Comment

Well good luck in your next fight man you definately got the skills to win, infact looking at you fight it would be hard to believe you are 0-2.
I got my first fight coming up in a couple of months and I hope I dont run into anyone with your skill level so early!Comment

This last fight was much better.. I felt good in training, it was summer and I was free to train. This guy was 24 (im 19), 1-0 with a first round knockout under his belt. So he was no slouch. I think I put up a good fight but this one makes me mad cause I feel like I had a good chance at winning.
Anyways, good luck on your fight. Don't worry about your opponent just go out there and get your W.Last edited by the330ballers; 08-02-2010, 11:30 PM.Comment

my advice would be, move after you punch. throw your 1-2 or your 1-2-1 pivot left or right. don't throw your shots and then cover up and wait to get hit, move out of the way.Comment
