He's right though. I don't care how hard you train if your mind is set on taking short cuts you're not taking it as seriously as you could be.

LOL did you not read his posts, the dude doesnt have time cos he works a lot. For people who stand on their own two feet in life and dont rely on other people work always comes before play. You guys talk and big up how hard you train like your all pro's. If you train like a pro and your not - then your wasting your time and your not really in a position to criticize him because your pretty talentless yourselves. For people who live in reality some things are more important than boxing.

Personally as much as I love skipping, I dont see it as an effective substitute for jogging. I can skip for a long time at a moderate intensity and not feel too gassed, a little out of breath sure but I dont feel like Ive pushed my body (plus my shins start to ache after a long skipping sesh).

But when I go jogging I can get easily feel gassed and it feels like Im pushing my body way more.

I read his post and I don't care about how much time he has. If it was a simple case of ''I jump rope because I don't have the time......'' it would acknowledge that what you're doing isn't a perfect substitute and more can be done.

When you say ''it's better because I don't have to go far from my bed'', it shows lack of commitment and that you feel what you're doing is sufficient.

I made no reference to hard I train, I will actually openly admit that I don't train hard but I'm not in here claiming that I've me doing X is a better replacement for Y.
